A new emerging group of Lions from China and L.A. having their first fundraiser and event during the Pandemic.

For the past year, I have been in close communication with our Associate Member, Lisa Yang, who was the Charter President of the Guangdong Diamond Lions Club.  She migrated here a couple years ago living in LA.  She often sold, at discounts, and donated PPE and Masks to our Silicon Valley Cyber Lions Club PPE & Masks Program.

We have discussed how she should charter another Club in America with many immigrated Lions from China in the LA area.  These are active, giving and motivated Lions who wants to bring their enthusiasm and their ways of Service to America to complement and add to the success of MD4.  
I am very excited to see this first kickoff event by Chinese Lions Clubs and members in L2.  I will also post the link to a congratutory video by our good friend PIP Lion Tam and by Assembly Woman Chu of LA. 

I and our Silicon Valley Cyber Club look forward to working with Lion Lisa on her second Chartering of a new Club in America.  We have explore many channels and discussed various pro and cons for this new club.   I can see that this club’s membership will explore quickly in LA and with Lions and non Lions joining this new Club.   The fact that it is now very difficult for people to join the Lions in China will divert them to join Cyber Membership Clubs outside of China.  I wish all of you will take notice of this.  Our Club’s memberships came from 11 countries and cities.

Again Congratulations to Lions of MD4-L2 and the successful beginning of more dedicated Lions from China and around the world.  It is not possible to hold back our Lions Spirit and their volunteer service.  MD4-L2 will be a District to watch and to learn from.

Lion Lisa, we will always be supporting you and our joint Peace Poster Program and several others when your new club is ready.
